What happens when you attend your session?

I make it fun, easy and enjoyable for you to get your photography done.
Prior to your session we will have already spoken and covered the basics so that you are prepared and fully looked after on the day.

Your photography session will be held in my studio just north of Levin on Waitarere Beach Road. Families from Wellington, Palmerston North and all over the Lower North Island travel to our studio for their sessions.

I have a full set of props, blankets, hats and wraps. Everything you see in the images on my website are available for you to utilise in your photo session. All you need to bring is your gorgeous little babe, relax on the lounge with a cuppa and enjoy your baby’s photo shoot.

Newborn sessions typically last for around 2 to 3 hours, depending on how hungry or sleepy baby is feeling. Mini sessions are between 1-2 hours. We will never rush your little one as each baby has their own schedule – Our sessions are relaxed and casual.

Once your baby has arrived, we can lock in a convenient date and time for your newborn baby’s portraits.

Did I mention I love photographing babies and always ensures everything is perfect for your photographs. Your images will include retouching and detailing. Each image will be treated with care. I only use the very best equipment and programs to ensure the end result is of a very high fine art standard.

For older children, My Fine Art child portraiture has breath taking results of children done in a timeless style that will be treasured for the rest of your child’s life and generations to come. My process also includes the details, this is very important and I make sure every little bit of each image gets the attention and perfection it deserves. I’m also a qualified Senior Hair stylist and worked in this profession in the city and overseas for more than 10 years before becoming a photographer. So I bring a very useful combination of skill sets and this means you are in great hands as I’m able to deliver the full service of hair, light make up and beautiful photography right to you creating a valuable experience but also results you will cherish. The clothing for these sessions is also vital to the look and style, I have a range of clothing that can be used, more discussion on the clothing will be done during the booking process.
