After working with many new mums and photographing hundreds of babies it is clear to me that having a great relationship with your photographer is the key to a joyful experience and you coming away with the sort of images you are dreaming of. So let’s start our journey together, I want you to know WHY I do what I do...

Since I was very little I have adored babies, I followed everyone round that had a baby, I collected photos that Anne Geddes did and covered my walls and books with them. I couldn’t wait to have a baby of my own... but I did wait ! Then I had five! I have spent my whole entire life adoring babies.

I also always loved art and taking photos. Then I realised I could take photos of babies and do this for a job and I was so excited that maybe I could do this as well as Anne Geddes did!! I worked for hours and hours, I literally spent all my spare time learning and I still do it now. I flew to Australia twice to learn from the best. Amy from Dewdrops photography in the states did a workshop in Australia that I attended. I have done everything I can to learn and still do. It’s not a job it’s my passion.

Photographing Newborns is the reason I picked up a camera, Newborn photography has always been the area I wished to be the master of.

Since learning photography and becoming a newborn photographer I have done lots of different types of photography with people, including Maternity and Families but also lots of documentary style work of my own children with my yearly ‘photo a day’ project.

I have also really enjoyed doing Fine Art portraiture of older children I really love painterly portraits and am always tweaking my skills in these areas with continued training.

I want you to know that I’m going to look after you and chances are I know exactly how you are feeling right now. I’m a straight shooter and I’m not going to waste your time. I will deliver an easy and enjoyable experience and I am certain together we will create something truly special for you and your family to enjoy forever.
